SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ MATERNITY SESSION IN A WILDFLOWER MEADOW


There’s something peaceful about an evening maternity session in an absolutely simple but stunning location.



For this Sussex County, NJ maternity session, we wandered through a quiet meadow filled with tiny yellow wildflowers and one of the most beautiful old trees. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect, and it made a gorgeous backdrop for documenting this season before their little one arrives.


Mom wore a simple white dress that stood out beautifully against the greens of the field. Rather than focusing on perfect poses, this session was about documenting the quiet anticipation and love that already exists and is growing. The glances shared between them and the simple touch of a hand resting on her belly tell the story of everything that is to come. The wildflowers added so much texture and softness to the gallery without taking away from the real focus.


One of the things I love most about photographing maternity sessions in Sussex County NJ is finding locations that add a natural beauty and calmness to the session. Nature has a way of creating the perfect backdrop without needing anything else.
